This was one of the most remarkable and inspiring places and concerts I've been. The @PianodromeLive is unique. Loved @SinkMusic and Portnawak & the Woo. Amanda and compere @sabrinachap were perfect. Impressed that @TheBotanics would create something so special for visitors.
This weekend, Saturday 24th March 2018 to be precise, Portnawak greatly enjoyed playing the garden stage for the grand opening of Bridgend Farmhouse.
This is an excellent project, where a group of folk have tirelessly been working for 7 years to bring it into fruition. Bridgend Farmhouse has been renovated from it's dilapidated state into a community owned initiative, with cafe, garden, workshops and volunteers. The emphasis is placed on community and good eating.
When? Friday 27th October, 2017. 7:30-11:30pm Where? St. Peter's Hall, Lutton Place, Edinburgh Why? To raise funds for Three Hares Community Woodland What? A Ceilidh with Awry (Epic Ceilidh Band!!!) and some freestyle wigging out to Portnawak & The Woo. How much? £10, or £7 student/low wage, £5 unwaged.
